PROGRAM GOALS

• Develop players for High School and beyond

  • Winning now is important, but secondary to developing skills to prepare players for high school and college if that is a goal

  • Pitcher’s arms will be protected

  • Player must give his/her best effort at all times

  • Teamwork is not just lip service

  • Maintaining a positive attitude and good sportsmanship through adversity

  • Improve overall athleticism

    • Speed training

    • Plyometric training

    • Strength training

• Teach players how to become strong men and women of God

  • Teach players how to become leaders

  • Promote courageous behavior

  • Serving others- missions, serving teammates and families

  • Representing our faith in Jesus through all actions- on and off field

  • Work ethic

  • Appreciation for the position in life that they have been given

  • You can be a fierce competitor and a Christian at the same time

• Encourage players to read the Bible and pray daily
